Moran Reeves Conn is seeing a talented take-charge experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal who will enthusiastically embrace our firm’s values and culture. The successful candidate will assist our Med Mal attorneys from case inception through trial by:
- Providing project management of cases (e.g., establishing & communicating timelines, preparing case flow sheets, follow-up with attorneys, etc.)
- Identifying and utilizing technological solutions, including document and case management platforms that bring value and enhance our legal services
- Preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Reviewing and analyzing deposition transcripts
- Collaborating with our Nurse Paralegals to obtain medical and other records. Issuing subpoenas. Review medical and non-medical records.
- Coordinating and scheduling depositions and trials
- Identifying and retaining expert witnesses
- Collaborating with attorneys in the preparation of trial exhibits and demonstrative exhibits.
- Serving as a trial paralegal (attending trials, ADR, depositions, etc.).
We desire candidates with strong organizational skills who are detail-oriented. Also essential are exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that reflect respect and compassion. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of complex litigation paralegal experience are required. At least one year of medical malpractice litigation experience is preferred.
